PAWS 4 RESILIENCY
Paws 4 Resiliency is a government-approved non-profit organization based in Redcliff, Alberta, dedicated to training and certifying high-quality service and therapy dogs across Southern Alberta & Saskchetwan.
Our core programs focus on building strong foundations in canine behaviour and handler skills, starting with a comprehensive 25-week obedience training course that goes beyond basic commands to foster advanced obedience, socialization, and reliability.
This program serves as the gateway for participants interested in progressing further. From there, eligible teams can advance into specialized service dog training, which includes public access skills, task-specific training tailored to the handler's needs (such as support for disabilities, veterans with PTSD, or first responders), and certification under Alberta standards to ensure teams meet rigorous excellence requirements.
Additional offerings include weekly drop-in sessions for personalized 1:1 training or socialization, free initial assessments to place dogs in appropriate group levels, and community-focused events that strengthen the human-canine bond while promoting resilience and well-being. Overall, Paws 4 Resiliency emphasizes accessible, affordable training to empower individuals and dogs alike in enhancing independence, emotional support, and community service.
