Supporting Handlers & Dogs for life
About Us
At Paws 4 Resiliency, we begin by working directly with dog owners through our structured 25-week obedience training program, building strong foundations, clear communication, and reliable behaviour.
From there, teams can continue advancing toward therapy dog work and, for those who qualify, fully certified service dog training.
We are committed to improving the lives of Canadians living with physical and mental health challenges.
We proudly support Veterans, First Responders, and civilians facing post-traumatic stress injuries, mobility limitations, anxiety disorders, neurological conditions, and other life-changing barriers.

A properly trained service dog can be life-changing. These dogs provide more than companionship — they offer daily assistance, emotional grounding, confidence in public settings, and the support needed to regain independence and reconnect with the community.

At the heart of everything we do are our incredible volunteers. Our volunteer trainers generously give their time, experience, patience, and compassion to help every client and dog team succeed. Their dedication makes this mission possible and changes lives every day.

Together, we are building stronger futures — one partnership at a time.

These moments capture the powerful bond between individuals and their service dogs. Through trust, training, and daily support, lives are strengthened, independence is restored, and resilience grows.
UP COMING EVENTS
At Paws 4 Resiliency, we bring people and dogs together through connection, support, and community. Here are our upcoming events—join us, get involved, and be part of something meaningful.

July 18th - August 8th

Come visit us at the Farmers’ Market at the Cypress Centre in Medicine Hat!

Paws 4 Resiliency will be there connecting with the community, sharing more about our service dog programs, and raising awareness for the work we do to support individuals and families in need.

Stop by, say hello, learn more about how service dogs change lives, and help us continue giving back to our community, one paw at a time.

July 11th
Join us for an upcoming Drive-In Movie Night and Penny Carnival hosted by Medicine Hat Speedway!

It’s a great chance to enjoy a fun evening out with family, friends, and the community while supporting a meaningful cause. Paws 4 Resiliency will be there running a 50/50 draw, with proceeds going back toward helping community members who need service dogs.
Come out, enjoy the movie, take part in the penny carnival, grab your 50/50 tickets, and help us continue making a difference — one paw at a time!
